Terms of Use — EMI Planner
Last updated: 18 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and vamaha.tech, India ("we", "us"),
the publisher of EMI Planner (Android package com.emicalculator.emiplanner).
By using EMI Planner you agree to them. Our
Privacy Policy
explains how we handle data and forms part of these terms.
2. Who can use EMI Planner
EMI Planner is intended for users aged 18 and over.
3. A calculator, not financial advice
- EMI Planner does not provide loans or financial advice, and does not connect you with any lender
or financial institution.
- Results — EMIs, interest, Freedom Dates, prepayment savings, tax benefits, investment returns — are
estimates based on what you enter. Your lender's figures can differ because of rounding, fees, rate
changes, payment dates and their own rules.
- Tax figures are a general guide, not tax advice. Check with your lender, a tax professional or a
financial adviser before making a decision.
4. Price and EMI Planner Pro
- EMI Planner is free to use today, with no paywalled features.
- We plan to release EMI Planner Pro, an optional paid upgrade. When it is available:
- – what Pro includes and its price will be shown in the app before you buy;
- – payments will be made through Google Play and covered by Google Play's terms, including its
refund policy. We will never see your card, UPI or bank details;
- – Pro will be linked to the Google account you bought it with, and you can restore it from inside
the app on a new device signed in to the same account.
5. Your data stays on your device
Your loans, plans and payment logs are stored only on your phone and are not backed up by us. If you
uninstall the app, clear its data or lose your phone, we cannot recover them.
6. Fair use
Please don't:
- copy, resell or redistribute the app, or unlock Pro features without buying them;
- attack, overload or reverse-engineer the app or our servers;
- use the app for anything illegal.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep EMI Planner accurate and working, but we can't promise it will be free of errors. We may
improve, change or remove features. If we remove a Pro feature you paid for, we will tell you in the app
first.
8. Limitation of liability
EMI Planner is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any financial loss or
decision made on the basis of the app's calculations. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have
under Indian consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above, and tell you in the app if the
change matters. If you keep using EMI Planner after that, the new terms apply.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any
problem together. If we can't, the courts at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, have jurisdiction.
