These terms are an agreement between you and Vamsi Krishna, trading as Vamaha Tech, India ("we", "us"), the publisher of ScanDukaan. By creating an account or using ScanDukaan you agree to them. If you use ScanDukaan for a shop, you confirm you are allowed to accept them for that shop. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data and forms part of these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old. ScanDukaan is a business tool for shop owners and the staff they allow to use it.
ScanDukaan is currently free. We may introduce paid plans or features in the future. If we do, we will announce them in the app before they start, explain what is paid, and only charge you if you choose to pay. Anything you were already using will not stop working without notice.
Please don't:
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
ScanDukaan helps you bill, track stock and keep a khata. It is not an accounting, tax or GST filing system, and its reports are not professional advice. You remain responsible for your business's taxes, invoices and legal records, and for checking the figures you rely on.
Billing and stock work offline, but syncing and sign-in need internet and our servers. We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or stop features. If we ever decide to shut down ScanDukaan, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to get a copy of your data.
ScanDukaan is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales or lost business opportunities, arising from your use of ScanDukaan or from its being unavailable.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.
You can stop using ScanDukaan and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after telling you why where we can.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change applies. If you keep using ScanDukaan after that, the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem together. If we can't, the courts at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, have jurisdiction.
