Terms of Service — Verdiq

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and vamaha.tech, India ("we", "us"), the publisher of Verdiq. By creating an account or using Verdiq you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data and forms part of these terms.

2. Who can use Verdiq

You must be at least 18 years old. Verdiq is for parents and caregivers; it is not directed at children and children should not use it.

3. Information, not medical advice

• Verdicts (OK, Caution, Avoid) are based on published guidance for your child's age band and on the label data we have. They are general information, not medical, nutritional or allergy advice for your individual child.
• Product data can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and manufacturers change recipes. Always read the label on the actual pack, and never rely on Verdiq alone for allergies or medical conditions.
• For any health concern about your child, talk to a qualified doctor or paediatric dietitian.

4. Your account

• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Set your child's age band correctly — verdicts depend on it.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings; see Delete your account.

5. Price

Verdiq is currently free. If we ever introduce paid features, we will announce them in the app before they start, explain what is paid, and only charge you if you choose to pay.

6. Products you add

• When you add a product, you send us photos of its packaging and label. Only photograph the product — not people, documents or anything private.
• You give us permission to store, verify, use and show that product information and those photos in Verdiq's shared catalogue, so other parents get the answer too. This permission continues after you delete your account, but the product is no longer linked to you.
• We may edit, correct or remove any product record to keep the catalogue accurate.

7. Fair use

Please don't:

• add false product information or send misleading reports;
• scrape, copy or resell Verdiq's verdicts or catalogue;
• try to access other people's accounts, or attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

8. Brands and suggestions

Product and brand names belong to their owners. Verdiq is independent and is not affiliated with or paid by any brand. Healthier alternatives are suggested on the evidence, never as paid placement.

9. Availability and changes

Verdiq needs internet and our servers to work. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or stop features.

10. Limitation of liability

Verdiq is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or harm arising from relying on a verdict or on product data instead of the product's own label and professional advice. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change applies. If you keep using Verdiq after that, the new terms apply.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem together. If we can't, the courts at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, have jurisdiction.
